Volunteering Visa Indonesia (C6)
The 60-day Single-Entry Volunteering Visa (C6) for Indonesia (former B211A visa) is suitable for anyone traveling to Bali or anywhere else in Indonesia for social, humanitarian, and volunteering programs.
The initial visa is valid for 60 days and is extendable twice for an additional 60 days each, allowing for a maximum length of stay of 180 days (60 days initial stay plus 2x 60 days extension). You have the option to purchase visa extension(s) together with your visa or order the extensions separately later. The extension process will be the same.
Important: A personal visit at the Immigration office is required for all extensions.
Attention: An onshore application for a C6 visa is no longer available. This means you have to apply outside of Indonesia for your Visa. Please contact us early if you are planning to fly out and come back with a new C6 visa to make the process as smooth as possible.

Please note that this type of visa is currently unavailable for passport holders of Afghanistan, Guinea, Israel, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, or Somalia.
We have divided the requirements for the visa into two subsections. In the first section, you will see what is required for the application, and in the second what is needed for your flight and entry into Indonesia.
For the visa application, you need the following:
- Color Copy of Passport ID Page
A scan of the ID page is required. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry into Indonesia. Proper scans are recommended but if you take photos instead, make sure all corners are visible and no fingers can be seen. All letters and numbers must be readable. - Passport Photo/Profile Picture
At least 3.5 x 4.5 cm, 100KB and 400x600px. You must be facing straight to the camera, wear formal clothes and the background must be white or light coloured. You shouldn’t be positioned too far or too close to the camera. A selfie is accepted as long as the resolution is high and you are facing straight to the camera. - Proof of Participation
Statement from an agency or institution that explains the details of the program.
For departure and entry
Please have on hand the following documents for your flight check-in and entry into Indonesia:
